I can’t find an About page.

Hmm. That should have said “what is Derek and Romaine?” Autocomplete fail.

Yeah Tim… as the web site is being revamped I think it needs to more clearly say something like DNR 2.0, The Derek and Romaine Radio Show or something on the “Home” page and then perhaps more info on an ABOUT (aboot) page.

DNR Events LLC was founded in 2015 by partners Derek Hartley and Romaine Patterson to create unique travel experiences and one-of-a-kind entertainment.  Our mission has always been to engage, entertain, inform in innovative ways. This groundbreaking partnership provides hundreds of hours of digital entertainment each year as well as group travel events and a paid internship at the Studio A location in Manhattan.
The foundation of this endeavor is DNR 2.0, a live streaming digital channel and audio archive featuring Derek and Romaine, a two-hour daily broadcast hosted by award-winning radio duo Derek Hartley and Romaine Patterson.
The Derek and Romaine show is available to subscribers live on weekdays from 5-7pm ET/2-4pm PT. After the show airs live, it streams continuously in an “always on” 24/7 audio channel and is available for download from the Audio Archive. The show is available through the DerekAndRomaine.com website online and through mobile devices.
Each subscription also comes with a custom Private URL available on the subscriber’s membership page. With a single click on the Private URL, subscribers can add the show to their iTunes where both the live stream and downloads are automatically updated in iTunes and the Podcasts app that comes pre-loaded on all iPhones and iPads. For non-iPhone users, the Private URL can be added by “cut and paste” to almost any podcast app. For technical assistance, visit our Tech Advice section of the website.
Derek and Romaine first launched on April 14, 2003 on Sirius Satellite Radio and over the years welcomed an eclectic array of guests including Donald Trump, Martha Stewart, David Boudia, Joan Rivers, Samuel L. Derek and Romaine were honored with a Special Recognition GLAAD Award and were featured in Out Magazine’s OUT 100 list. After more than twelve years, the show ended its run on the combined SiriusXM Radio on June 17, 2015. The show returned to the world of live broadcasts through DerekAndRomaine.com on January 4, 2016.
In March 2013, Derek and Romaine launched the DNR Cruise with a trip to the Western Caribbean out of Ft. Lauderdale. The DNR Cruise is a travel group made up of a diverse mix of LGBTQ people and straight allies and features hosted events presented by Derek and Romaine. Initially the group was made up entirely of Derek and Romaine show listeners, but since then, through seven successful cruises the group has grown to include not just listeners and fans, but extended friends and family as well, with ages ranging from nine months to ninety! The most recent cruise, a Feb 2017 sailing to the Bahamas from Cape Canaveral, attracted more than 300 travelers. More than 80% of people who experience a DNR Cruise, book a second cruise, with many coming back again and again and again. Future cruises are planned for Oct 2017 to the Mexican Riviera and in Feb 2018 to the Western Caribbean.
Partnering in 2016 with the Susanne Marcus Collins Foundation, Derek and Romaine launched Studio A in Manhattan, a state-of-the-art broadcast facility in the heart of Times Square. This dynamic digital hub provides critical 21st job skills and experience to LGBT youth through a paid internship program launched in 2017 in coordination with the Susanne Marcus Foundation, the LGBT Center and the Ali Forney Center.
